Direct Answer
MOQ at iSupfactory is tiered by customization level, not a single flat number. Each tier corresponds to a specific production scenario: | Scenario | MOQ | Unit | Condition | |----------|-----|------|-----------| | Existing platform, logo overlay only | 5–10 pcs | per design | Same shape, same material roll, same colorway | | Custom graphics / EVA / packaging on existing platform | 20–50 pcs | pilot batch | Same shape; new artwork requires visual proof | | Standard volume production (any platform) | 90–100+ pcs | per 150 m roll (~180–220 boards) | Per material roll; multiple SKUs = separate rolls | | New shape / custom mould | 90–100+ pcs | production run | Mould tooling adds 15–20 days; one-time mould fee |
What counts as a 'material roll'?
A 150-meter roll of drop-stitch fabric produces approximately 180–220 boards depending on board dimensions (typically 10–11 ft). Each distinct SKU — meaning a different size, color combination or material specification — requires its own roll and therefore its own MOQ. This is why the MOQ is stated "per 150 m roll" rather than "per design": two colorways of the same board shape are two rolls, two MOQs.
Co-branding vs pilot vs volume
**Co-branding (5–10 pcs)**: Your logo applied to an existing platform that is already in production for another brand. No artwork changes beyond the logo placement. Fastest route to a branded sample. **Pilot batch (20–50 pcs)**: Custom graphics, EVA traction pad design, or packaging on an existing platform shape. Requires visual proof approval before production. Ideal for market testing a new look. **Volume production (90–100+ pcs per roll)**: Full production run with any combination of customization. This is the standard commercial tier. Each material roll yields ~180–220 boards.
Custom mould MOQ
When your design requires a new board shape (not just new graphics on an existing shape), a dedicated mould must be created. This runs at the volume tier (90–100+ pcs) because the mould investment requires a production run to amortize. Tooling adds 15–20 days to the standard lead time. Mould ownership: you own the mould. It is stored at our facility and used exclusively for your production runs.
Sample orders
Pre-production samples are available at 1–2 boards for fit/finish confirmation. These are hand-built to your spec and typically take 7–12 days. Sample cost is credited against your first volume order.
